Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician – 4-Day Week, Tampines

About the role

Join a leading technology manufacturer in Singapore as a Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician. You will support advanced server and hardware testing operations, working within a 4‑day work week environment at the Tampines site.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret Test Process Instructions (TPI) and train production personnel.
• Provide technical guidance on testing procedures and troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain training records and audit documentation.
• Create and manage server Golden Images and ensure test database accuracy.
• Configure rack test templates and support deployment of rack configurations.
• Maintain component database records and system configurations.
• Perform basic root‑cause analysis and escalate complex issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or 4 years relevant experience without the qualification).
• 2–4 years of experience in testing, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience with server, hardware, rack, or electronics testing is an advantage.
• Willingness to commit to rotating day and night shifts after the training period.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or DOS operating systems.
• Understanding of electrical concepts.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Basic networking troubleshooting.
• Ability to read Python or other scripting languages.

What we offer

• Basic salary SGD 3,000 – 5,000 per month (range SGD 3,500 – 6,000).
• Shift allowances: +SGD 12 per day shift, +SGD 24 per night shift.
• Meal & transport allowance: SGD 16 per working day.
• 4‑day work week with Sundays off.
• Training period (first 3 months) Monday‑Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
• Rotating 12‑hour shift teams after training.
