Manufacturing Test Technician – Cleanroom Equipment

About the role

As a Manufacturing Test Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing high‑value display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role supports the production of semiconductor chips and advanced displays that power AI‑driven technologies. You will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Document work progress, labor details and test results; install software or perform computer programming when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor, display or a comparable industrial or military environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanroom safety practices.
