Market Manager (North Asia) - VP/SVP

About the role

Citi is looking for a Vice President (VP) / Senior Vice President (SVP), Market Manager (North Asia), for its Asia South Wealth Client Advisory Business in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Cluster Head, the role leads, mentors and scales a team of Citigold Client Advisors who manage offshore North Asia clients (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan). It is a commercially driven, advice-led, CIO-powered wealth management position that also champions a strong risk and control culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the "Advice-led, CIO-powered, OneCiti" wealth proposition and coach advisors on portfolio construction, asset allocation and structured notes and alternative investments
• Own the North Asia market strategy and expand Citi's presence across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
• Partner with Investment Counselors, Wealth Planning Advisors and FX Experts to deliver integrated solutions
• Implement tailored strategies for Accredited and Non-Accredited Investors, driving "Connect to Wealth" initiatives and increasing CPC density
• Promote digital tools and AI-driven platforms to streamline advisor and client workflows, and use data to personalize engagement
• Foster agile leadership, strengthen the EVP to attract and retain talent, and drive continuous upskilling
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, the Fair Dealing Guidelines, and AML/CFT and customer due diligence controls

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in wealth management, private banking or offshore financial advisory, with a track record of leading client-facing advisory teams
• Bachelor's degree required
• Fluency in English; professional proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin highly preferred
