Materials Management Manager (M4)

About the role

The Materials Management Manager will lead a cross‑functional planning process that integrates make‑vs‑buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling and inventory control to meet customer demand for semiconductor and display manufacturing. You will be responsible for developing and executing build‑to‑order and build‑to‑forecast plans while ensuring accurate inventory counts and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage an integrated planning process covering make‑vs‑buy, capacity, scheduling, inventory and cost elements.
• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts and historical usage to create build‑to‑order and forecast plans.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to devise cost‑effective production strategies and monitor material inventories.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by managing an inventory control system in partnership with Finance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance scorecards.
• Represent the materials organization on corporate task‑force teams and manage the department budget.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of materials management concepts and related business functions.
• Proven ability to lead a homogeneous team and adapt plans to operational challenges.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve technical and organizational issues.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
