Materials Project Management II

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Management II to support engineering, materials and manufacturing planning in Singapore. The role involves forecasting requirements, managing ERP master data and coordinating with suppliers under direct supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Manage master data in ERP (creation and updates to Material Masters) and perform UAT with GIS/SAP team.
• Participate in Materials Core Team, supporting product development deliverables and commercialization plans.
• Assist in supplier negotiations, risk assessments, performance monitoring and cost analysis.
• Generate and publish key process indicators and track total landed cost targets.

Required profile

• Proficient in ERP, MRP and SAP systems with ability to support planning processes.
• Understands key business drivers and can resolve quality and cost issues.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members and solves straightforward problems using technical judgment.
