About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Management professional to drive engineering, materials and manufacturing requirements across its supply chain. The role focuses on forecasting, supplier coordination and material strategy to support semiconductor and display production.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Perform make‑versus‑buy analysis and provide input to outsourcing decisions.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Lead the Materials Core Team and manage product development deliverables across buyers, planners, and production control.
• Assist in supplier price and delivery negotiations and conduct supplier risk assessments.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in materials engineering and related disciplines.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems using judgment based on multiple information sources.
