About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Management professional to ensure supply continuity for manufacturing, driving timely delivery and cost‑effective procurement.
Key responsibilities
- Follow‑up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment and maintain records.
- Drive timely shipment of parts from suppliers to Applied factories and resolve shipping, receiving and billing issues.
- Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration, execute pull‑ins/push‑outs to meet MRP demand.
- Negotiate purchases and RFQs to achieve lowest cost while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Support inventory and excess‑stock reduction initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1‑2 years of related experience in purchasing or supply chain.
