Materials Project Management – Supply Continuity Role

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Materials Project Management professional to ensure supply continuity for its semiconductor and display manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role focuses on driving timely delivery, managing purchase processes, and collaborating with suppliers to support fast‑paced production.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
• Follow up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
• Adhere to standard purchasing business processes.
• Drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from suppliers to Applied factories, resolving shipment, receiving, and billing issues.
• Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration and execute pull‑ins/push‑outs to meet MRP demand.
• Drive inventory and excess & obsolete (E&Z) reduction efforts.
• Negotiate and execute purchase orders and RFQs to achieve lowest cost while considering quality and reliability.
• Resolve supply issues with engineering, manufacturing, and program managers, supported by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of related experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Understanding of industry key business drivers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex information.
