M&E Coordinator

About the role

Citadel Search is looking for an M&E Coordinator to manage and support mechanical and electrical works on site, making sure installations meet the required standards and project timelines. You will act as the main link between consultants, contractors and internal teams so that M&E systems are coordinated and executed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee coordination between M&E consultants and system-wide contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage approvals and site installation processes with M&E subcontractors.
• Handle documentation and approvals needed for contractor sign-off on drawings and MEP clearance.
• Carry out regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of M&E installations.
• Take part in coordination meetings and share updates and requirements with the site construction team.
• Update detailed BIM models in Revit when required.
• Assist the Design Manager with project-specific tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building or Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination; prior work on LTA MRT projects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of M&E systems, including drawings, specifications and sequencing.
• Able to work collaboratively within a project team and communicate effectively across disciplines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drafting.
• Revit for updating detailed BIM models.
