M&E Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead mechanical and electrical engineering activities across its construction projects in Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring that all M&E systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in line with project specifications, timelines, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all M&E engineering work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and approved drawings.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and integrate M&E system installation and commissioning.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, monitoring quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
• Track progress of M&E works and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless system integration.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulatory standards (e.g., CONQUAS, QM), and safety procedures.
• Prepare and submit M&E documentation, reports, and progress updates as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related field; PE Board‑recognized degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience with proven M&E project management expertise.
• Experience delivering at least one full project cycle; experience with MOHH or HDB projects is a plus.
• Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with BIM software or other M&E design tools.
