M&E Project Engineer – Project Based (SGD 3500-4500)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Project Engineer to coordinate and manage M&E works on project‑based assignments across Singapore. The role involves ensuring timely execution, compliance with specifications, and smooth handover of systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E project works to ensure timely and smooth execution.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications and project requirements.
• Plan, schedule and monitor site activities, proactively resolving technical and site issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors for proper coordination of M&E services.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, claims, variation orders and related documentation; follow up on certifications and payments.
• Monitor project progress to keep works within schedule and budget.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover of M&E systems in line with project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, codes of practice and safety requirements.
• Promote and enforce Workplace Safety and Health standards on site and coordinate safety matters with subcontractors.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely handover of completed works.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in M&E or construction projects.
