Mechanical Design Engineer – Bellow Assemblies

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of new bellow assemblies for industrial components. You will work closely with customers and US counterparts to translate requirements into manufacturable products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and US teams to define product specifications and feasibility.
• Design new products using SolidWorks 3D CAD and perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Create jigs, fixtures, and detailed manufacturing routings for prototype and mass production.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, coordinate First Article Inspection (FAI) builds, and manage engineering change notices (ECNs).
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing data in the ERP system.
• Validate products against design specifications and support cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical product design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities with minimal supervision.
• Effective team player with good collaboration skills.

• GTAW and PAW welding techniques (CWI certification preferred)
• ERP system usage for BOM and routing creation
