Mechanical Engineer - Training Provided

About the role

Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The position is permanent, based in Singapore’s Northeast region near Punggol Coast, with standard Monday‑to‑Friday office hours.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all technical tasks in strict accordance with corporate protocols and established work systems.
• Apply deep understanding of design fundamentals to develop and communicate complex engineering solutions to project stakeholders.
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with external clients, contractors, and organizational partners.
• Conduct advanced engineering calculations utilizing industry‑standard software, including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Full Hydraulic Calculation (FHC).
• Interpret and integrate architectural, structural, and service engineering specifications into project designs.
• Perform detailed investigative works and comprehensive technical reviews of engineering systems.
• Lead the production and development of technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and professional reports.

Required profile

• Possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience within an engineering consultancy, with a core focus on ACMV, Fire, and Hydraulic services (preferred).
• Strong project execution expertise gained from a contractor perspective will be highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Energy Storage Systems (ESS) or a background in sustainability, carbon reduction, and renewable energy is a significant advantage.
