Mechanical Rotating Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Rotating Engineer will develop safe, high‑performance, and sustainable engineering solutions for rotating equipment in the oil and gas sector. This role supports project goals and contributes to the company’s strategic objectives by delivering robust, efficient, and reliable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering activities, selecting appropriate methodologies, tools, and procedures to meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, execute, and complete engineering tasks and deliverables within the agreed schedule and budget, ensuring alignment with other disciplines and system interfaces.
• Deliver assigned scopes in full accordance with contractual obligations and internal processes, including quality, safety, and documentation requirements.
• Incorporate lessons learned and evaluate the impact of design changes across interconnected systems or project boundaries.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas sector, covering both design and execution phases.
• Proficiency in engineering design tools and calculation methods.
• Detailed engineering design skills and understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Experience with inspection, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of package engineering and equipment fabrication processes.
• Awareness of reliability, operability, and safety considerations in design.
• Familiarity with mechanical rotating equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective planning and task‑management capabilities.
