Medical Lead, Singapore & Distribution Markets and Medical Launch Lead, Asia

About the role

This is a non-promotional, full-time medical affairs position based in Singapore, covering the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio and its associate indications. It combines leading medical launch preparations for key launches across Asia with scientific support for healthcare professionals, and requires about 60% of time spent outside the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage current and upcoming Medical Aesthetics portfolios and their indications, and own and drive Key Opinion Leader engagement
• Lead scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and lead brand strategy, budget management and tactical planning with the marketing department
• Lead pre-launch, launch and post-launch preparation for key launches across Asia, working with cross-functional colleagues and local country medical leads
• Provide scientific education and training, including advisory board meetings, field visits and training for field sales teams
• Support Phase IV and investigator-initiated trial approvals and execution, and liaise with the regional pharmacovigilance lead on safety issues, audits and CAPAs
• Act as local representative of global medical office functions (e.g. PV, HEOR) and work with commercial leaders to set priorities and share competitor intelligence

Required profile

• Strong preference for a medical degree (MD or MBBS), PhD or science degree
• 2 to 7 years of medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Preferred: dermatology specialist or experience in dermatology, plastic surgery or medical aesthetics
• Experience managing advisory boards, publications and scientific exchange, and building relationships with KOLs
• Willingness to travel and to work in a matrix structure

Required skills

• Deep clinical knowledge of medical aesthetics and strategic country-level planning
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, able to engage HCPs and persuade commercial teams
• Good understanding of the domestic market and multinational ways of working
