MEP BIM Coordinator (2-Year Contract)

About the role

Mecomb Singapore Limited is seeking a proactive MEP BIM Coordinator to support BIM‑assisted project delivery for a two‑year contract. You will be responsible for creating and managing BIM content, ensuring model quality, and enabling 4D simulation and 5D cost management across civil, structural, architectural, and M&E disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Create BIM content and production documents to support project delivery.
• Perform QA/QC on modeller and consultant BIM models to ensure compliance with VDC/IDD standards.
• Produce BIM model deliverables for design, documentation, and fabrication.
• Interpret engineering drawings and update consultant RFIs to reflect design intent.
• Develop BIM models with correct parameters and attributes for 4D and 5D workflows.
• Identify and report design discrepancies to BIM engineers for resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve outcomes.
• Utilise civil & structural, architectural, and M&E 3D models to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of full BIM experience, preferably with A1 main contractors or consultants.
• Higher Nitec in Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering, or a Diploma/Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering, or BIM.
• Strong command of spoken and written English for effective communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of Dynamo and Civil3D for BIM model enhancement.
• Experience creating 4D and 5D BIM models for simulation and cost management.
• Familiarity with BIM documentation and shop drawings generated directly from models.
