Merchandiser – Retail Buying & Stock Management

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Merchandiser to join the COMO Group’s retail team. The role involves managing brand buying, stock coordination and analytical reporting to support budgeted sales and sell‑through across our lifestyle and fashion brands.

Key responsibilities

• Plan seasonal financial buy budgets with the Merchandising Manager and Retail Operations Manager based on sales targets, sell‑through rates and product categories.
• Select and quantify purchases, set retail prices to achieve margin goals, and maintain accurate purchase order records.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely delivery of stock to stores, prioritising critical seasonal items.
• Monitor weekly stock levels by category, identify fast and slow movers, and recommend actions such as price changes, re‑merchandising or re‑orders.
• Collect weekly and monthly sales data from outlets, produce sales analysis reports for internal teams and principal suppliers.
• Provide product knowledge training to sales staff through range presentations and visual records each season.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to regional suppliers, track order status and communicate updates to management.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting sales and inventory data.
• Ability to work closely with retail, warehouse and supplier teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
