Multi-Asset Execution Specialist - Night Desk

About the role

The Multi-Asset Execution Specialist works in the Execution (Asia) - Listed Products & SP team in Singapore, covering mainly structured products and listed products. The role ensures active risk management and meets regulatory and internal compliance expectations. It reports to the Head of Execution (Asia) - Listed Products & SP.

The specialist works after Asian office hours, during the London/US market trading sessions, and must be able to work night shifts and public holidays. The person provides fast, accurate quoting and execution of orders and delivers a high-quality service to Night Desk clients and Direct Access Clients (DACs).

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate quoting, execution and booking of equities, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives and structured product orders, managing operational risks
• Provide a high quality of service to Night Desk clients and DACs, and consult regularly with Front representatives on client needs
• Maintain close working relationships with counterparties and build strong relationships across the Bank to keep up with products and services
• Keep accurate records of all trades and provide regular reports to management
• Maintain and update stored equities DACs information
• Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards, including user manuals and guidelines, and uphold standards such as honesty, integrity, fair dealing and conflict of interest management
• Support the team's financial, strategic and operational goals, propose process improvements and identify efficiency opportunities

Required profile

• Higher education and professional background with 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Able to work independently and in a global team, quick learner, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong commercial judgement and broad understanding of financial markets and products
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required
• Regulatory MAS licensed representative
• CACS 1 & 2, FMRP, RES 12B, CM-EIP and CM-SIP, or CM-CMPF
• Familiarity with cross-border rules and regulations
