Navy Contract Manager

About the role

The Navy Contract Manager acts as the central coordination hub for Navy clients and internal teams, ensuring consistent contract delivery and commercial performance across the portfolio. The role involves monitoring order intake, margin and payments, building strong customer relationships, and managing risks, claims and escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hub for coordination among Navy clients, internal stakeholders, sales managers, project managers, service centers, and external parties.
• Ensure uniform management of contract delivery, commercial performance, financial forecasting, risks, claims, customer expectations, and escalations across the portfolio.
• Monitor order intake, margin, and payment performance to drive business improvement.
• Create and execute an annual Activity & Development plan, reporting progress quarterly.
• Build trusting relationships with key customers and act as a mediator.
• Oversee internal stakeholders to provide optimal customer support.
• Lead resolution of technical problems, customer escalations, delivery delays, claims, variations, and commercial risks.
• Maintain consistent contract governance, documentation, compliance, confidentiality, and internal approval procedures.
• Encourage client loyalty and increased usage of company products and services.
• Negotiate international agreements on behalf of product centers.
