Network Engineer – L2/L3 Support (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for our island‑wide network infrastructure in Singapore. The role involves day‑to‑day operations, troubleshooting, and implementation of network and security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and administration of network and security infrastructure.
• Plan, execute and maintain backup and recovery strategies for network devices.
• Resolve network problems, outages and provide technical consultation.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with standards and policies.
• Set up new remote sites, update firmware, and replace faulty hardware.
• Handle firewall change requests, configure and troubleshoot Network Access Control (CPPM).
• Produce WAN utilization, incident and activity reports for management.
• Assist with GovNet equipment installation, firewall rule optimization, site surveys and core cabling projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience integrating Alcatel networking devices with NAC solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DHCP, FTP, DNS, IPS, VPN, AAA.
• Network Access Control (CPPM) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Alcatel networking devices.
• Palo Alto firewall administration.
• Wireless technologies and infrastructure.
• Firmware updates and hardware replacement.
• Backup and recovery procedures for network equipment.
