Network Security Reliability Engineer - Level 2

About the role

Crédit Agricole CIB, the corporate and investment bank of the Crédit Agricole group, is looking for a Network Security Reliability Engineer (Level 2) to join its infrastructure Network and Security Operations team. The Information Technology Services department ensures the availability, stability, security and performance of the bank's IT infrastructure, applications and end-user systems, operating 24/7 and shaping IT strategy for the APAC and Middle East regions. The role covers incident response, performance tuning and ongoing service improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain multi-vendor network and security devices across data centers, cloud environments and remote sites.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and implement secure network architecture, segmentation and access control.
• Maintain high availability, redundancy and resilience, and conduct regular security posture assessments.
• Support vendor escalation processes for Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, F5, Infoblox, Skyhigh, Ivanti, Check Point and Trend Micro.
• Take part in on-call rotation, incident response and escalations, and document configurations, change requests, runbooks and network diagrams.
• Work with Security Operations, CSIRT and Infrastructure teams, support audits and compliance, and take part in project implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, optimizing and troubleshooting enterprise network and security solutions.
• Proven experience with at least 4-6 of the listed vendor technologies, with working knowledge of the others.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and incident-management abilities, and good communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing/switching, VPNs and network security.
• Hands-on expertise with routing, switching, SDN, firewalls, load balancers, IDS/IPS, proxy, NAC and WLC systems.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python and REST APIs is a plus.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP, Arista ACE, Fortinet NSE 5/6/7, F5, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Infoblox, Trend Micro, and CISSP/CISM/CEH.
