Non-Technical Program Manager

About the role

The Non‑Technical Program Manager will lead onsite execution of the Applied NEXX ramp at a Malaysian contract manufacturer, ensuring material readiness, production flow and schedule adherence. This role acts as the primary liaison between the contract manufacturer, Applied Materials’ Singapore and Malaysia teams, and the NEXX program stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily floor‑level production readiness, material status and open action items for tool builds.
• Lead production‑floor scrums with the supplier and Applied stakeholders to resolve shortages and remove barriers to ship dates.
• Maintain a single source of truth for tool‑by‑tool readiness, including CTB status, long‑lead material placement and schedule risks.
• Drive proactive escalation of material, quality, engineering, planning and purchasing issues before they impact committed dates.
• Monitor contract manufacturer capacity, staffing, shift readiness and layout constraints to support short‑ and long‑term output requirements.
