NS Relations & Engagement Manager

About the role

The NS Relations & Engagement Manager serves as the primary liaison between National Servicemen (NSmen) and the National Service management system, ensuring effective human resource management and administrative support for NS units.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the NS Relations Officer for the assigned brigade, handling all NS‑related matters and coordinating with relevant agencies.
• Identify staffing shortfalls, project future NSmen requirements, and oversee optimal employment and deployment.
• Manage NS succession planning, development, training, and engagement programmes.
• Provide contextualised advice on NS administration policies to units and NSmen.
• Coordinate with agencies to sustain and improve the NS experience.
• Oversee multiple case files and mediate deviation cases.

Required profile

• Education in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience in human resource management, administrative operations, or a military/uniformed service background (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail, patience, and self‑direction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Keen interest in NS management and human resource administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
