NSX-T Security – Cloud and Platform Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl is hiring a Cloud and Platform Engineer to join its Cloud and Platform Engineering team as an NSX-T Security subject matter expert. The role secures and supports enterprise cloud environments, and suits someone with strong hands-on VMware NSX-T experience who enjoys solving complex security challenges and working closely with cloud, network and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware NSX-T environments.
• Manage micro-segmentation, distributed firewall policies and security controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security and operational issues.
• Support security incidents, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.
• Implement changes in line with established change management processes.
• Collaborate with cloud, network and platform teams to deliver secure services.
• Contribute to service improvements, documentation and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Hands-on VMware NSX-T administration and implementation experience (essential).
• Experience supporting NSX-T in a production environment.
• Knowledge of change management and structured operational processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
• A growth mindset, customer focus and inclusive way of working.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of network security concepts and security controls.
• Preferred: VMware NSX certifications, ITIL Foundation certification.
• Preferred: experience in enterprise cloud or managed services environments.
• Preferred: exposure to security technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ISE, CyberArk or Tenable.
• Preferred: experience supporting compliance, audit or vulnerability management activities.
