Nurse Clinician – Clinical Leadership Role

About the role

The Nurse Clinician leads patient care activities on the ward, ensuring high‑quality, safe and cost‑effective services while supervising nursing staff and upholding professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all patient‑care activities within the ward.
• Manage ward resources to optimise efficiency and quality of care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to ethical codes and professional standards.
• Maintain a safe environment and promote cost‑effective practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing; postgraduate qualification in Gerontology, Orthopaedic, Neuroscience, Palliative Care or Community Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of hospital nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid Registered Nurse practising certificate issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Willingness to work shifts and be deployed across two SingHealth Community Hospital sites.
• Uniform required.
