Nurse Clinician

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, part of NHG, is looking for a Nurse Clinician to drive clinical excellence and raise the standard of nursing practice in their area of care. Beyond day-to-day operations, the role shapes care delivery standards, leads quality improvements and helps build a high-performing nursing workforce that delivers safe, effective and patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical practice and service delivery: oversee the planning, setup and day-to-day operations of services within your scope, and ensure appropriate nursing manpower planning.
• Develop, implement and uphold nursing clinical standards and best practices, and streamline care delivery processes to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.
• Monitor clinical performance and care outcomes through audits, data and feedback, identify gaps and implement targeted improvements.
• Design and implement training, competency development and quality improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centred care, and partner with leadership to align clinical practices with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Recognised Bachelor's degree in Nursing with relevant specialty qualifications.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement in patient care.
