Nutrition Account Specialist

About the role

Abbott's Nutrition Account Specialist works in the International Nutrition division in Singapore to drive consistent sales growth and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory. The role involves building relationships with key accounts, generating new business while maintaining existing ones, and promoting Abbott nutrition products through the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of medical and nutritional science and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Carry out sales calls and customer engagement plans to generate demand for Abbott nutrition products.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and service requests professionally.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and educational sessions for doctors, nurses and dieticians.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
• Drive growth and market share in targeted accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market feedback for management review.
• Ensure compliance with Abbott's policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Sciences, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 1-3 years of sales experience in related industries such as Nutrition, FMCG or Pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver's licence preferred.
