Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics) - Full-Time Locum

About the role

Total Communication, a Singapore-based company with nearly two decades of experience in private speech, language, educational and occupational therapy, is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join its team. The role is full-time and locum, based on site, and focuses on helping children overcome motor skills challenges and developmental obstacles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address clients' developmental, learning, emotional and behavioural issues
• Conduct talks, training sessions and seminars for schools and other stakeholders when required
• Facilitate training for staff and entry-level educators
• Write case reports, assessment reports and letters to stakeholders when necessary
• Provide clinical services including client assessment and treatment using conventional assessment tools

Required profile

• A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy
• Preferred: AHPC fully registered Occupational Therapy qualification and strong pediatric experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Speech-Language and Educational Therapists
• Good organization, time management and self-monitoring skills
• High level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
