OpenStack Solution Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced OpenStack Solution Architect to design, implement, and maintain a scalable Red Hat OpenStack cloud platform. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance while leveraging AI‑assisted automation for operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Red Hat OpenStack‑based cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and optimise automation scripts for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Integrate OpenStack with Kubernetes, OpenShift and related services for seamless interoperability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement security best practices.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning and scalability enhancements.
• Lead change‑management activities including upgrades, hot‑fixes and routine SysAdmin tasks.
• Explore and implement Agentic AI and AIOps solutions to automate administration and incident response.
• Document system architecture, playbooks and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and third‑party partners on technical processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Red Hat OpenStack or comparable cloud platforms.
• Strong background in Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with Red Hat Linux administration.
• Experience with VMware ESX, Prometheus monitoring and Elastic Stack logging.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI and AIOps concepts for infrastructure operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical projects and ability to thrive in fast‑paced settings.
