Operations Executive

About the role

The Operations Executive will coordinate and monitor school facilities, ensuring smooth building maintenance, contractor performance and campus development projects. This role supports relocation planning, logistics, and safety initiatives across the school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor school facilities, building maintenance, and contractor performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and follow up on maintenance and defect rectification.
• Support campus development projects and school relocation planning.
• Manage logistics for furniture, equipment, and operational asset relocation.
• Oversee school security, safety, emergency drills, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Supervise cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and environmental services.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for school events, examinations, and official functions.
• Manage school assets, inventory, stocktaking, and equipment records.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, MOE and other stakeholders.
• Assist with operational planning, SOPs, business continuity and compliance documentation.
• Prepare operational reports, maintenance records and presentations.
• Support budget monitoring, procurement administration and quotation tracking.

Required profile

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities, estate, operations, transport or institutional support.
• Experience in operations coordination, maintenance follow‑up, inspections, logistics and stakeholder coordination.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
