Operations Management Manager – 12‑hr Day Shift

About the role

The Operations Management Manager will lead a team responsible for assembly, inspection, testing and final test of capital equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. This permanent, 12‑hour day‑shift role focuses on schedule prioritization, performance metrics, safety compliance and continuous improvement within a high‑tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, test and final test functions for capital equipment manufacturing.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and material requirements.
• Lead operational meetings, track performance metrics and drive cycle‑time improvements.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and manage cost‑of‑quality analyses.
• Oversee safety programs, enforce EHS training and maintain clean‑room compliance.
• Develop staff through training, performance management, hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Identify and implement process and quality improvements, driving Lean, Safety and Quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of production and operations procedures within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set priorities, coach teams and meet daily deadlines.
• Strong judgment to resolve technical and operational problems.
• Effective interpersonal skills to handle sensitive issues and interact with customers, vendors or suppliers.
