Operations Management Manager – 12hr Night Shift

About the role

Manager, Operations Management leading a 12‑hour permanent night shift team at Applied Materials in Singapore. Responsible for supervising production functions, ensuring safety, quality and meeting cycle‑time targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, test and final test operations for capital equipment manufacturing.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and material requirements.
• Drive Lean, safety and quality initiatives, monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Develop personnel through training, performance management and career development.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to work a fixed 12‑hour night shift (7 pm–7 am) on a rotating 3‑/4‑day workweek.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Experience with capacity optimization and process improvement.
