Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Operations Management Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Singapore. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, quality, on‑time delivery and cost efficiency across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor production metrics, budgets and plant capacity, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and evaluate optimal resource utilization to minimize costs and meet delivery commitments.
• Direct and mentor personnel to achieve production and supply‑chain goals while adhering to 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects, Lean initiatives and adoption of new technologies to enhance cycle time and profitability.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams on capacity expansion, NPI readiness and operational strategy.

Required profile

• 15+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience, including management of managers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing or a related field.
