Operations Management Manager – Night Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Operations Management Manager to lead night‑shift production in Singapore. The role oversees assembly, inspection, test and final‑test activities for capital equipment, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery while working a permanent 12‑hour night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across production functions such as assembly, inspection, test and final test for capital equipment.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and material requirements.
• Lead operational meetings, track performance metrics and drive improvements in cycle time and other key indicators.
• Ensure compliance with customer and vendor requirements, conduct cost‑of‑quality analysis and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee employee safety, environmental health and safety training, and enforce safety policies.
• Develop staff through training, performance management, hiring, rewards and discipline processes.
• Support capacity optimization, implement lean processes and monitor real‑time production data.

Required profile

• Formal supervisory experience with responsibility for daily production targets.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify problems and implement corrective actions.
• Understanding of Applied Materials global standards of business conduct and ethical expectations.
