About the role
The Operator, Foundry will support production operations by performing post‑casting finishing activities. This role ensures product quality and timely delivery through careful handling of cast components.
Key responsibilities
- Perform water blasting to remove shell moulds from castings.
- Grind and finish cast parts, runners, risers, and gating systems.
- Conduct sandblasting of finished components.
- Inspect finished products and report any defects or abnormalities.
- Operate finishing equipment safely and follow work instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety requirements.
Required profile
- Secondary education or equivalent.
- Experience in foundry, manufacturing, or production environments is preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
