OSAT Operations Senior Staff Planner

About the role

Marvell Technology, Inc., a global semiconductor company focused on cloud, enterprise, automotive and carrier markets, is hiring a Senior Staff Planner for its Supply Chain Planning team. The team ensures on-time delivery of products to customers by coordinating capacity with internal business units and sales, and with external customers and suppliers. The role centres on managing subcontractor loadings for bump, sort, assembly and test operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bump, sort, assembly and test loadings at global subcontractors to meet customer orders on time, at minimal cost, with fast cycle time and optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate production issues that affect customer order fulfilment.
• Work closely with global engineering, test development, quality and other teams, and take part in cross-functional projects.
• Report status to management.
• Handle all WIP and inventory reporting by subcontractors in the Oracle system.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Information Technology with proven experience in a similar capacity.
• Related semiconductor assembly and planning experience preferred.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to assist in system enhancement, preferably with knowledge of IT, Oracle and Microsoft tools.
• Knowledge of Tableau and/or RPA is advantageous.
