OTC Derivatives Valuation & Middle Office Officer

About the role

Citi's Securities Services is looking for an Officer, OTC Derivatives Valuation & Middle Office Supervisor (hybrid) in Singapore. The OTC Derivatives Valuation & Middle Office team covers post-trade activities for all OTC asset classes held by Citi's global clients, who are mainly external asset managers, investment managers and fund managers. The successful candidate will be a key member of the APAC team, working closely with EMEA and North America teams and supporting the India team in both day-to-day work and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and check the daily production of OTC derivatives valuation and middle office processes.
• Investigate and resolve open issues on OTC trades and valuation with counterparties, vendors, internal stakeholders and clients.
• Provide oversight, guidance and support to the processing teams in India.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
• Lead projects such as client on-boarding, product testing, migration, system upgrades and implementations.

Required profile

• 5 years of relevant experience in derivatives middle office or derivatives valuation.
• Experience in at least one derivatives asset class (Rates, Credit, FX, Commodities, Equity); experience across several asset classes is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering or another technical field.
