Overseas Business Development Manager – SEA/APAC

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of performance advertising clients across Southeast Asia and the broader APAC region. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and help shape our overseas sales processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential advertisers—especially mobile games and apps—through ecosystem partnerships, industry events, research and referrals.
• Conduct high‑quality client meetings to understand business objectives and present Tencent AMS solutions.
• Create and deliver sales pitches, negotiate terms and manage the end‑to‑end sales process until onboarding.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product and Engineering to ensure client requirements are met and onboarding issues are resolved.
• Maintain lead and opportunity data in the CRM, produce regular pipeline and forecast reports.
• Build synergies with internal units focused on international expansion to share resources and drive joint success.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in overseas performance advertising sales or business development, with a proven “0‑to‑1” client acquisition record.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities; self‑driven and comfortable working independently.
• Deep knowledge of performance advertising, programmatic buying and mobile attribution; familiarity with GDPR/CCPA is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional local language skills (e.g., Japanese, Korean, German) are highly preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
