Packaging Engineer

About the role

Ink Supplies Operations is looking for a Packaging Engineer to design, qualify, and launch packaging solutions for multiple product lines. The role works closely with business units, R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing, procurement, suppliers, and NPI teams to deliver cost‑effective, high‑quality, and sustainable packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging for new and existing products.
• Execute validation, testing, and qualification activities.
• Support new‑product introductions and sustaining engineering.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and product teams.
• Optimize designs through analytical and physical assessments.
• Deliver designs on time and within budget.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Drive cost, material, and process optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Support issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Four‑year or graduate degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in engineering design, manufacturing, or related area.
• Working knowledge of packaging materials, structures, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to operate with minimal guidance and manage multiple priorities.
