Part-Time Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent (Part‑Time) supports the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Serangoon by managing all aspects of guest bookings and enquiries. Working closely with the sales, front‑office and finance teams, you will help drive room revenue through travel agents, corporate accounts and group segments while delivering a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests, amendments, cancellations and group bookings, ensuring accurate entry into the hotel reservation system.
• Promote hotel products, special rates and IHG One Rewards to guests and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, destination‑management companies, schools, sports groups and event organisers.
• Process commissions, refunds and group payment documentation in a timely manner.
• Respond to guest enquiries and emails within 24 hours, providing accurate information on rates, facilities and local attractions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations and occupancy maximisation.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures and support sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to respond promptly and courteously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations, payments and documentation.
• Ability to meet reservation and revenue targets.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external partners.
• Willingness to attend meetings, training sessions and cooperate across departments.
