Patient Care Assistant (Radiology)

About the role

SingHealth is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for its radiology department. The role provides basic nursing and patient care, supporting radiographers and radiologists during procedures and helping prepare patients and the imaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and prepare the imaging room and equipment
• Support radiographers and radiologists during procedures and communicate clearly with patients and their relatives
• Follow strict infection control measures, standard precautions and good hand hygiene
• Help schedule imaging procedures and advise patients and the public on preparation
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned work area in the imaging facility
• Assist in transferring patients to and from the imaging facility

Required profile

• Fresh Higher Nitec, Nitec, GCE N, O or A Level or equivalent
• ITE Skills Certificate in Health Care (Inpatient) or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support preferred
• Able to work three rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays, five days a week: morning 07:30-16:30/08:30-17:00/09:00-17:30, afternoon 12:00-21:00, night 21:00-08:00
• Training will be provided
