About the role
JurongHealth Campus, part of the National University Health System (NUHS), is looking for Patient Service Associates to deliver excellent patient service in its Emergency Medicine Department. This is a one-year contract position.
Key responsibilities
- Register patients by phone and handle upfront enquiries
- Collect payments and deposits and provide financial counselling for admissions and discharges
- Liaise with the Bed Management Unit to secure beds for Emergency Medicine Department patients
- Arrange Specialist Outpatient Clinic appointments for Emergency Medicine Department patients
- Sort documents in preparation for dispatch to the Medical Records Office
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their relatives
- Replenish inventory when stock is low
Required profile
- Minimum GCE N Levels with 1 year of working experience in customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff
- Strong passion to serve patients
- Willingness to work morning, afternoon and overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays
