PDI Assistant – Vehicle Preparation & Logistics

About the role

The PDI Assistant supports the end‑to‑end preparation of new vehicles at Vantage Automotive Limited. You will coordinate inspections, manage parts logistics, ensure quality control, and track vehicle movement within the warehouse and to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, review and validate PDI Repair Orders, Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Assign and supervise external contractors to ensure quality work.
• Perform quality checks on vehicles after inspection.
• Manage receipt, tracking, and issuance of vehicle parts from store.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries with transport vendors.
• Track vehicle movement and stock in the warehouse.
• Inspect incoming vehicles and report defects.
• Prepare demo and display cars for the Sales team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec in Automotive Studies or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Valid Class 3 Driving License.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent inter‑communication and coordination skills.
