About the role
The Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Singapore's only tertiary psychiatric hospital, is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician. You will provide a broad range of pharmacy services under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure the safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs within the hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Medication dispensing
- Medication counselling
- Unit dose packing
- Processing and distributing medication orders
- Inventory management in line with departmental guidelines and standard operating procedures
Required profile
- Diploma in Pharmacy Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences; diploma holders in unrelated fields must complete a one-year Certified Pharmacy Technician Course organised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and to prioritise a busy workload
- Able to work shifts and weekends
