About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Planning and Control professional to manage scheduling for low‑complexity manufacturing lines in Singapore. The role focuses on aligning production plans with business demand, material availability, and line capacity while ensuring on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control manufacturing low‑complexity line scheduling, considering business demands, manufacturing and material constraints.
• Own tool configuration and slotting, and manage NPMA (Non‑Pure Manufacturing Activities) approval and allocation.
• Responsible for line On‑Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
• Design efficient lines with focus on responsiveness, inventory levels, and linear workload.
• Monitor line performance and drive improvements in KPIs such as OTD, End‑of‑Period (EOP), Cycle Time (CT) and Start‑of‑Execution (SOE).
• Support manufacturing capacity fulfillment and manage training period allocation.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the discipline.
• Applies general business knowledge acquired through education or past experience.
• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for technical contributions.
• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems and makes judgments based on analysis.
• Works within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Communicates straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
