Plasma Machining Technician

About the role

Join Pratt & Whitney’s aerospace manufacturing team in Singapore as a Plasma Machining Technician. You will operate and maintain plasma equipment used to repair critical engine components, supporting the production of high‑performance aircraft engines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate plasma machining equipment for engine component repair.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on plasma machines.
• Program and troubleshoot equipment under engineer guidance.
• Cross‑train in engine painting support.
• Follow SOPs and quality standards, reporting incidents and hazards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and EH&S training.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision engineering.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office and SAP.
• Ability to read and interpret engine manuals.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and overtime as needed.
• Self‑motivated with a learning mindset.
