Facility Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Legrand is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to join its Starline team in Tuas, Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the plant’s facilities, equipment, and fleet while supporting production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day facility maintenance and lead the preventative maintenance programme.
• Develop and execute maintenance procedures, schedules, and oversee repair and construction projects.
• Coordinate landscaping and custodial contractors to keep the site clean and well‑maintained.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, determine corrective actions, and support complex machinery troubleshooting.
• Maintain relationships with internal departments, vendors, and contractors.
• Ensure all company vehicles meet DOT compliance.
• Read and interpret facility blueprints, order parts, and manage spare‑parts inventory.
• Manage fire and security systems, including off‑site assets, and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Prepare required reports and fulfil additional duties as directed by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent; 2‑3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work at heights (Work & Height certified).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to use personal protective equipment and work in confined spaces.
