Platform Support Engineer

About the role

Join a global team that provides best‑in‑class production support for high‑performance trading systems. You will help ensure maximum system availability, minimize downtime, and enable rapid recovery in a 24x7 trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain efficient software deployment, configuration, and proactive monitoring processes.
• Troubleshoot production incidents across proprietary and third‑party trading platforms.
• Collaborate with traders, DBAs, developers, infrastructure, and external partners such as exchanges and vendors.
• Assist end‑users and developers in understanding core trading and back‑office tools.
• Create and maintain documentation for procedures, troubleshooting scenarios, and system architecture.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting ability, especially for issues without a predefined runbook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated yet able to leverage team expertise.
• Flexibility to participate in rotating on‑call coverage.
• Curiosity and a desire to deeply understand complex systems.

Required skills

• Linux platform support in large‑scale production environments.
• Windows platform support.
• Scripting development (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Network communications knowledge, including multicast networking.
