About the role

The Dr Jiang Danhua Group, part of Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory Ltd, focuses on plant epigenetics and the functional genomics of vegetable crops and their breeding. It is looking for a highly motivated postdoc to carry out genetic transformation and molecular breeding in vegetable crops.

Key responsibilities

Design and perform genetic transformation and gene-editing experiments in vegetable crops
Carry out genomic and phenomic analyses of germplasm and mutant populations
Run breeding programs to improve key agronomic traits
Publish research papers

Required profile

PhD in plant genetics, plant breeding or a related plant science discipline
At least one first-author research paper in an international peer-reviewed journal
Experience in plant transformation or plant breeding
