PR & Branding Associate – Regional Marketing

About the role

The PR & Branding Associate will join Shopee’s Brand Marketing team to support regional public‑relations initiatives that complement integrated marketing campaigns. You will help shape core narratives, work closely with country teams, and amplify Shopee’s brand messaging across offline, social, partnership and in‑app experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, articles and speeches for diverse audiences.
• Support the planning and execution of regional PR initiatives and guide country teams in narrative development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—including PR, marketing, operations and external agencies—to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Collect, analyse and interpret marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and business performance.
• Maintain meticulous timelines and ensure high‑quality deliverables in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public relations, corporate or marketing communications.
• Experience on a brand‑focused PR team is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of the online and digital media ecosystem, including news publishers and social media algorithms.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑oriented and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
• Interest in brand marketing and willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
